Catherine Alice “DeDe” Lane Apple, 82, of Superior went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2013.
Catherine Alice “DeDe” Lane Apple, 82, of Superior went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Superior.
She was born Nov. 24, 1930, in Ordway, Colo., daughter of Reuben and Catherine (Williams) Trentor.
Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, Loren Lane; second husband, Curtis Apple; stepdaughters, Alice Barnard and Paulette Frikart; brothers, Reuben Trentor Jr., and John Trentor; and sister, Esther Sitzenstock.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim (Scott) Danielson, Superior; son, Marc (Dori) Lane, Superior; 11 grandchildren, Malinda, Krissa, Jeremy, Brandon, Kathryn “Kaefie,” Marc Jr., Kelly, David, Loren, Tom and Kathy Ann; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; sisters, Mary Catherine (LeRoy) Eilf, Standish, Mich, Phebe Emma (Henry) Lane, Superior, Charlotte Louise Young, Superior, and Janice Lorene Young, Menomonie, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews. DeDe and Loren also cared for over 70 foster children.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, March 13 at First Evangelical Covenant Church, 3311 Hammond Ave., Superior, with Rev. Stephen Staurseth officiating.
Committal prayers will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th St., Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
