Jim (James K.) Smith, 80, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 4, 2013.
Jim (James K.) Smith, 80, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 4, 2013.
Preceded in death by beloved wife, Carol; four brothers; two sisters.
Survived by cherished sister, Gayle Smith; daughter, Debra (Robert) Mueller; sons, Dennis (Peggy), Duane (Lisa) and Brian; grandchildren, Ellen (Rob), Andrea, Emily, Matt, Brad, Sam, Eric, Joey and Ben; special friend, Carol Shea and the Shea/Gralewski families of Superior, Wis.; in-laws, Lorna Smith, Margaret Smith, Janice Aliksyuk, Donald Pasket and Evelyn Pasket; also nieces, nephews, friends and his Mt. Bethel Church family.
Memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 3239 70th St. Inver Grove Heights, Minn. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. Inver Grove Heights, Minn., also one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home, 2076 Anthony Ave., St. Paul, MN 55104
