My condolences to Ray's family. During our time at Ft. Lewis, Washington, when the National Guard was activated for the Berlin Crisis , from 1961-1962, Ray was one of my closest friends. We lost touch after that, but I rememer him as one of the finest persons I have ever met. I believe this was a consensual opinion of those who knew him at Fr. Lewis, as well. Lloyd W.
