Sandra Kaye Hoernke

Sandra K. Hoernke (Alderson) of Gordon, 50, passed away at the Hospicecare Center Essential Health, Duluth on Jan. 25, 2013.

Sandra K. Hoernke (Alderson) of Gordon, 50, passed away at the Hospicecare Center Essential Health, Duluth on Jan. 25, 2013.

Sandie was a 1980 graduate of Madison Memorial High School and a member of Gordon Presbyterian Pioneer Parish, Gordon. She was proud of her tasks and duties performed for the State of Wisconsin. Sandie enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, her dogs, spending time with her family any time she could and skiing with her daughter. Sandie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sandie is survived by her husband, Craig; children, Justin Wollin and Jamie; parents, Don and Patty Alderson; cousins, Jessica Noethe, Jodi Vogel, Jake Stormer, Kaye Stormer and Bucky Stormer, Victor, LeRoy and Joey Hubbard; loyal pets, Bucky and Freckles. Further survived by many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by brother, Alan Alderson; grandmothers, Edith Alderson and Evelyn Gust; grandfathers, Leroy Alderson and Raymond Gust; aunt JoAnnand and uncle Herbie Hubbard.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 12 Noon service at Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home, 5701 Odana Rd, Madison, Wis. on Thursday, Jan. 31 with Rev. Cynthia Bacon Hammer presiding. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff and doctors at Essential Health ICU and HospiceCareCenter, Duluth and to Pastor Richard Blood.
