Charles "Charlie" Edward Hase, Jr.

Charles "Charlie" Edward Hase, Jr., 63, a former Superior resident and currently residing in Chisholm, Minn. went to his eternal home in heaven on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013.

Charles "Charlie" Edward Hase, Jr., 63, a former Superior resident and currently residing in Chisholm, Minn. went to his eternal home in heaven on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013.

He worked as a semi- truck driver, a delivery driver and he also was a talented musician having played in several bands. He loved being out in Gods' nature, fishing, camping, swimming and jogging, having run in several marathons.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Hase; mother, Helen M. Hase; and a nephew, Matthew Charles Rivard.

He is survived by a son, Charles Curtis Hase of Hibbing, Minn.; sisters, Pat (Roger) Higgins of Superior, Kathy Thoda of Biloxi, Miss. and Mary Jo (Byron) Card of Foxboro; a twin sister, Helen C. Hase of Duluth; a brother, Jimmy Hase of Lake Nebagamon; several nieces, nephews and cousins; two grandchildren; and special friends, Jamie and Sheldon Roberts of Hibbing, Minn.

A time of remembrance gathering will be held in the spring. Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. and 19th, is assisting the family with arrangements.
