Toivo (Matt) Jussila

Toivo (Matt) Jussila, 57, of Iron River, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 in Temple, Texas.

He was born April 15, 1955 in Munsing, Mich., the son of Engve "Swede" and Shirley Jussila. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam era and worked most of his life as a truck driver, being an owner/operator for six years. He enjoyed traveling and drove through 49 states and Canada.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, a son, Shawn, Jussila of Ohio, a grandson, Nicholas, a granddaughter, Sydni both of Madison, Ohio, his brother, Charles (Bonnie) of Iron River and his sister, Lisa (Al) of Superior, two nieces and two nephews.

Toivo was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Swede Jussila and an infant granddaughter, Sierra.

Arrangements are by Frost Home for Funerals in Ashland.
