Jacqueline F. Fennessey, 82, a longtime resident of Superior, Wis. died peacefully in Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, Minn. with her family by her side on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012
She was born June 10, 1930, in Ashland, Wis. to Fern (Christiansen) and James Good.
She is survived by her husband, William; children, William (Marsha) Fennessey, Bonnie (Ron Zawacki) Nolan, Jim (Nancy) Fennessey, Tom (Cindy) Fennessey and Jodie (Al) Pittsley all of Superior; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, David (Betty) Good of Bayfield, Wis.; a sister, Virginia (David) Vosika of Duluth; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, James Walter Good; a grandson, James Fennessey; and a great-grandson, Mint Fennessey.
She and Bill loved the outdoors, and especially being at their cabin on Lake Superior. They also enjoyed traveling in their motor home. Some of Jacqueline's interests were cooking, knitting and working jigsaw puzzles.
Per Jacqueline's request there will be no public visitation or funeral, but a private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Essentia Medical I.C.U. Department for the kindness shown Jacqueline and her family.
