Philip A. Fraser, of Plymouth, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Dec. 4, 2012 at the age of 91.
Philip A. Fraser, of Plymouth, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Dec. 4, 2012 at the age of 91.
Phil was born in Proctor and raised in Superior.
He was preceded in death by wife, Marion and son, Michael.
He is survived by six children, Mary (Jerald) Pietan, Anita Fraser, Nancy (Francis) Gildner, Stephen, Sandra (Tom) Urahn, and Kathryn (Mark) DeVinny. Philip is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Philip served our country during World War II in the Army. He was a past commander of the Wayzata American Legion and an English teacher at Wayzata High School for 31 years.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service on Thursday, Dec. 13 at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, Minn. Private interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
He was a loving and wonderful father and grandfather. We will greatly miss him.
