Delorse I. Erickson, 74, of Superior, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.
Delorse I. Erickson, 74, of Superior, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.
She was born Sept. 22, 1938 in Sargent, Neb., daughter of LeRoy and Ida Pearson.
On June 15, 1972 in Superior, Delorse I. Pearson and David H. Erickson were united in marriage.
Delorse was a member of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, Superior.
She worked for the National Bank of Commerce and was a volunteer at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, David in 2001; and brothers, Kenneth, Glen, Harold, Dale, Lyle and Dean Pearson.
Survivors include her daughters, Julie Ann (Dennis) Wedan, Maple and Bonnie Lynn (Tom) Hegman, Princeton, Minn.; grandsons, Bryan (Joy) Wedan, Chad (Jill) Wedan, Adam (Jayme) Wedan, Dan (Angel) Hegman; 10 great-grandchildren, Domenic, Kaelyn and Morgan Hegman, Isaiah, Naomi, Hannah, Elliana, Brett, Lydia and Reggie Wedan; brother, Earl (Ginger) Pearson, Poplar; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, Superior, with Rev. Mark A. Holmes officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
Pallbearers will be Tom Johnstad, Jay Johnstad, Scott Johnstad, Jim Wickstrom, Roger Thompson and Chuck Christiansen.
Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.

So sorry to see this sad news and my sincere sympathy to you girls and family of Delores. I worked closely with her at NBC and have many fond memories of those years.
