Dr. Gregory M. Trautt, Ph.D., 65, passed away Oct. 30, 2012, after a courageous four year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Dr. Gregory M. Trautt, Ph.D., 65, passed away Oct. 30, 2012, after a courageous four year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Greg was born Oct. 15, 1947, in Superior, Wis. He worked as a 3rd assistant engineer, both in salt water and the Great Lakes prior to becoming a clinical psychologist. He also worked at CMHIP for 19 years and worked in private practice as a forensic psychologist to perform parental evaluations for the court. Greg always strived to advise what was in the best interest for children of divorce. He was an avid scuba diver and liked to travel. His love for his family was of most importance.
Survived by his wife, Carol J. Trautt; son, Zachary (Kerahian) Trautt; grandchildren, Aisis and Woden Trautt; sister, Deb (Mike) Duffy; brother-in-law, Owen (Robin) Morey; sister-in-law, Judy (Dick) Lyons; nieces and nephews, Jean (Fred) Oseko, Carrie (Zach) Shockman, Peggy Huckabee, Matt (Angie) Duffy, Pat (Carrie) Duffy, Derek Morey and Morgan Morey; and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Trautt and brother, Tim Trautt.
Special thanks to Dr. Archuleta and RMCC staff, Dr. Highfill, Dr. Hess and the nurses on the oncology floor at St. Mary Corwin Medical Center.
