Gloria "Sis" F. (Martineau) Quam, 90, lifelong Superior resident, died on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Villa Marina Health & Rehabilitation Center in Superior.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Sis was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother who felt her family was the most important area of her life. She was loved by many and all.
She lives on in our hearts as love never dies. She also lives on in our memories. As we go on about our lives a certain song or smell or sound will help us to remember, and we may laugh out loud and share the memory or we many cry and keep the memory to ourselves. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loved ones encompassed in the familiar love she was always known.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Quam, sisters, Faith, Helen (Gloria's twin), Joan, Colleen and Opal, brothers Paul, Frances, Leo, Russell, George, Irwin, Clement, Sonny, Wally, and Earl.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and continue until the 11 a.m. Memorial Mass with Rev. James Tobolski as celebrant.
