Audrey May Gillespey, 89, of Iron River, Wis., born March 17, 1923, passed away Oct. 17, 2012, in Superior, Wis.
Audrey May Gillespey, 89, of Iron River, Wis., born March 17, 1923, passed away Oct. 17, 2012, in Superior, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers, her husband Paul Sr. and son Paul Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Joy (Allan) TaBelle of Iron River, Wis. and one brother; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Audrey had many talents in her life. She was a Nurse's Aide, seamstress at a garment Co., worked in a family greenhouse, a waitress, clerk in a Drug Store, homemaker.
She and husband Paul owned and operated the P and A bakery in Iron River for several years. Then owned and operated their business Pine Acres Crafts in the Town of Hughes at their residents for many years. Most of all she was best known as wife, mother and grandmother. We Miss You!
We loved you yesterday, today and always. You are our hero.
Out of respect for Audrey's wishes a private service was held for her at Down's Funeral Home, Superior, Wis. Clergy officiating by Rev. Joseph Brygger of Grace Baptist Church, Iron River, Wis.
