Mary was born and raised in Superior, having attended Bryant and Superior Central High School. She attended Downer College in Milwaukee, Wis. where she met and married Robert Cole. Mary’s greatest love has always been the ocean, having spent many happy vacations in Florida and the Bahamas. She also loved playing bridge with friends.

Her last year was made easier with the help and support of two full time caregivers for whom we are thankful. In addition, we thank the sixth-floor staff at Essentia-Duluth. Also, we greatly thank our mother’s neighbors for their kindness, concern and understanding that they have shown her through the years.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota 218-624-5200.
