David Vernon Lindquist, 64, of Iron River passed away on Oct. 7, 2012.
David Vernon Lindquist, 64, of Iron River passed away on Oct. 7, 2012.
Dave was born Dec. 17, 1947, in Superior, the son of Swede and Gerry Lindquist. He attended Superior East High and graduated from Superior Senior High. He worked as an engineer for the CN&W railroad among other jobs.
He is survived by two sons, Christopher, of Iron River and Steven (Lory), of Ashland, Wis.; two sisters, Sue Lindquist and Reen Modeen, both of Iron River; five grandchildren, Alyssa (Zach) Pagels, Luke Lindquist, Jeremy Lindquist, Wesley Lindquist and Bobbi Jean Kneeland; his special Granny Jan and Freddie Black as well as his faithful cat Callie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Swede and Gerry Lindquist; grandparents Jennie and Gust Lindquist and Jack and Andreen Apelquist, Bertha Apelquist and aunts and uncles.
As per his wishes there will be no funeral service
Dave’s lifestyle was his own and he lived it his way. He will be missed by family and friends.

Sue and family, we all had such a close knit experience growing up together in Itasca. We all still have many happy memories of those times. Our times shared with you and David are especially fun memories. Sorry to learn that David has left us now, but our memories of him will live on.
