Palma (Moe) Krisak, 100, of Superior died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at St. Francis Health and Rehabilitation Center, Superior.
She was born June 8, 1912, in Superior, daughter of Nels and Anna (Skreade) Moe.
On Feb. 6, 1933, in Superior, Palma Moe and John Krisak were united in marriage. Both Palma and John were lifelong residents of Superior.
Palma worked at the Butler Shipyard during WWII and retired from Kresge’s 5 & 10 Store, after 25 years as a sales clerk.
Her memberships included Bethel Lutheran Church, East End Seniors and the Wednesday Smear League at the Belgium Club.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, John in 1992; sisters, Marie, Doris, Mabel and Mary; brother, Olaf; and sons-in-law, Paul Nikstad and Charles Hobart.
Survivors include her daughters, Joan Nikstad, Superior, and Marilyn Hobart, Littleton, Colo.; sons, Gary (Kitty) Krisak, Superior, Roger (Kathy) Krisak, Superior, and Jack (Jane) Krisak, Englewood, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Kimberley Nikstad, Timothy Nikstad, Gary “Mike” Krisak, Jon Krisak, Tammy Brandt, Terri Sorenson, Teresa Walter, Debra Hall, Jodi Anderson, Roger Krisak, Carrie Baylis and Scott Krisak; 29 great-grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 5821 John Ave., Superior. Reverend Gary Garnatz will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Superior.
Should friends desire, memorials in Palma’s name may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
Pallbearers will be Mike Krisak, Jon Krisak, Roger Krisak, Scott Krisak, Tim Nikstad and Phillip Hall.
