Audrey Rose (Tollefson) Sjoberg, 83, died Sept. 21, 2012, at the Christian Community Home after a courageous struggle with Alzheimer's.

Audrey Rose (Tollefson) Sjoberg, 83, died Sept. 21, 2012, at the Christian Community Home after a courageous struggle with Alzheimer's.

Audrey was born June 14, 1929, to Andrew F. Tollefson and Marian Cook of Solon Springs, Wis. She married her beloved Adolph Gustav Sjoberg on June 14, 1949. They moved from Solon Springs to Superior in 1970, where Audrey worked many years as an insurance secretary.

Audrey played an active part in the American Legion Auxiliary, National Rural Letter Carriers Auxiliary, and homemakers group for many years. Traveling, latch hooking, embroidery, and reading were Audrey's hobbies.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband Adolph, and son John. She is survived and loved by Steve and Monica Johnson; Jeremy, Jessica, and Jason Johnson; Wendy Burkhart; cousins; and many friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside memorial service at 11 a.m, Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Evergreen Cemetery, Solon Springs, Wis. Lunch will be served at Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Solon Springs after the service.

Please submit memorials to Steve Johnson, W11816 769th Ave, River Falls, WI 54022. All memorials will be given to the Christian Community Home - Activity Fund in memory of Audrey.
