Steven Belaire, 52, Superior, formerly of Iron Mountain, Mich., died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, unexpectedly in his home.
Steven Belaire, 52, Superior, formerly of Iron Mountain, Mich., died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, unexpectedly in his home.
He was born on July 27, 1960, in Kingsford, Mich. to Raymond and Nancy (Peterson) Belaire.
He graduated from high school in Kingsford, Mich. and he served his country in the United States Navy.
He was employed as a truck driver for Kivi Trucking. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Green Bay packers.
Steve is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Kenny Lessor) Belaire, Allison Belaire; one son, Jon Belaire, all of Norway, Mich.; his parents, Raymond and Nancy Belaire, Iron Mountain, Mich.; two grandchildren, MacKenzie and Tristan; one brother, Edward (Kathy) Belaire, Polaski, Wis.; the love of his life and fiance Pamela Gidley and her daughters, Christine Gidley and Cassandra Gidley, all of Superior and his little pug Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra (Gayan) Belaire.
There will be a private family service in Michigan.
There will be a celebration of Steve’s life on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 3-5 p.m. at the Belgium Hall in Superior.Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
