Jerry L. Abrahamson, 60, of Superior, passed peacefully on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, surrounded by family at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.

Jerry L. Abrahamson, 60, of Superior, passed peacefully on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, surrounded by family at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.

He was born June 4, 1952, in Roseau, Minn., son of John and Lavina (Walker) Abrahamson.

Jerry was an avid trapper, fisherman and hunter. He loved to play cards and could never refuse a game of cribbage.

His early work history included truck driving for various trucking firms, and most recently he was the owner and operator of Jerry's Quality Tackle.

Preceding him in death were his parents; step-father, Marvin Bengston; and brother, Lee Abrahamson.

Survivors include his wife, Delores "Dee" Abrahamson; children, Bonnie Boyd, Bob (Gina) Wagner, Gail (Jeff) Rabold, Diana (John) Mundle, Debbie (Jerry) Spencer, Connie Harris, Kim Nelson, Michael (Lisa) Harris and Patrick Harris; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Dale and Pat.

Visitation will be from 12:30 until the 1:30 p.m. service, Thursday, Sept. 27, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Rev. Thomas Cooper will officiate.

Dee I'm sorry to hear about Jerrys passing he was a very nice man.you both used to babysit my sons. Jerry always had a kind word when ever he seen me he will be missed.tammy cooper oaks

Dee, I'm so very sorry to see about Jerry's passing. i will always remember his sense of humor and all the good times we all shared, and you and him keeping me out of trouble. If you need anything I'm just a phone call away. Shari & Pete Birch

My condolences to Jerry's family, I'm truly sorry to read of Jerry's passing, he was one of my favorite people. I had the pleasure of helping him with some substance abuse issues several years ago. He was one of the most sincere men that I knew. I will miss him. Smokey
