Donald Tibbs, 83, formerly of Superior and Duluth, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at Murray, Ky. He was a member of the ironworkers local in Duluth for many years.
Donald Tibbs, 83, formerly of Superior and Duluth, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at Murray, Ky. He was a member of the ironworkers local in Duluth for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carolyn Wells-Tibbs; three daughters, Paula Tibbs of Louisville, Ky., Vicki Hanna of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Geri Fresacher of Superior; one son, Donald Tibbs of Minneapolis, Minn.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Velettia Tibbs, brother, Jack Tibbs, and granddaughter Jessica Hanna.
A memorial service was held Aug. 16 at York Funeral Home in Murray with Bro. Ricky Cunningham officiating. Burial was at Murray Memorial Gardens.

So many years....so very many great memories...sorry to have lost touch. Don was a very special friend years & years ago.
