Rose M. Fawcett, 86, Duluth resident, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at St. Eligius Health Center in Duluth.

She was born on March 24, 1926 in Duluth to Daniel and Rose (Levendouietch) St. Armour.
She graduated from high school and worked as a factory worker for Jeno's Food Products for many years.
Rose had a heart of gold, who gave in every way to everyone. Her kitties were and are her other set of children. She loved going out to eat and also enjoyed needlepoint throughout the years.
Rose was a devoted Christian, always teaching and reaching out to others. She attended many churches throughout the years, with the most recent being The Salvation Army and the Central Assembly of God, both in Superior.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Roy Dahl) LaVallee, Panama City Beach, Fla. and Karen Rivero, Superior; six grandchildren, Tim LaVallee, Stacy, Minn., Tom (Tammy) LaVallee, Panama City, Fla., Tammy (Scott) Clark, Panama City Beach, Fla., Trisha (Bob) Scalzo, Trego, Wis., Todd LaVallee, Superior and Patrice "Tigger" (Jerry) Cheselski, South Range. She also has many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews including Albert and Calvin Lidmark, both of Fridley, Minn., Jerry Lapante, Colorado and David Lapante, Minn.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 4 at The Salvation Army, 916 Hughitt Avenue., Superior and continue until the 12 p.m. memorial service with Major Rosemary Matson officiating.
The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
