Lorraine B. Gilbertson, 87, of Superior, died Monday July 23, 2012, at St. Francis Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Lorraine B. Gilbertson, 87, of Superior, died Monday July 23, 2012, at St. Francis Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Lorraine was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on Oct. 7, 1924, the daughter of Guy and Grace Lyman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald, they celebrated 55 years of marriage until his death on July 21, 2004; and a brother, Jim Lyman, Sr.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Adrienne (Thomas) Anderson of Superior; grandchildren, Toby (Kevin) Sloan, Julian Brue and Katy Brue all of Superior, and Ryan Anderson of Baldwin, Wis.; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 29 at 2 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. Rev. Joel Certa-Werner will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
