Blanche Strum, long time Superior, Wis. resident passed away in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
She was a resident of Lake Hills Inn for four years. She was born May 16, 1916, in Superior, to Asa and Alma Rathbun.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church in east end.
Blanche married Ernest A. Strum in 1938. They had one son Ernest of Nekoosa, Wis. and one daughter Nancy of Mesquite, Nev.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 1979, and her half-brother Tad in California. Blanche is survived by her son, Ernest ( Virginia) and daughter, Nancy Drown, brother Glenn Rathbun, Duluth, Minn., four grandchildren, Jeff and Larry Strum; and Dan and Steve Drown; and one great grandson, Davis Drown.
A grave side service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20, Greenwood cemetery in Superior.
Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
