Dorothy M. Tuverson, 88, Green Valley, Ariz. formerly of Superior and Gordon died Monday June 25, 2012, at Casa de la Luz in Tucson, Ariz.. Born March 1, 1924 in Superior to Harald and Edna (Doucette) Ness.

Dorothy M. Tuverson, 88, Green Valley, Ariz. formerly of Superior and Gordon died Monday June 25, 2012, at Casa de la Luz in Tucson, Ariz.. Born March 1, 1924 in Superior to Harald and Edna (Doucette) Ness.

She earned a Bachelors degree in education from University of Wisconsin-Superior and was in the Alpha Kappa Sorority and PEO. She taught French at Superior Central Junior High until 1982. She enjoyed being with her family, playing cards and golfing.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, Lloyd and Richard Ness.

She is survived by husband Lyle, daughters Sharon Peck, Green Valley, Ariz., Laurie (Eric) Orner, Sahuarita, Ariz. and brother Harald (Carol) Ness, Fond du Lac, Wis.

My sincere condolences for your loss. Mrs. Tuverson was also my French teacher and one of my favorite teachers. She was a very kind and understanding teacher. Always enjoyed going to her class. Becky Little (Latscher)

Mrs. Tuverson was my 8th grade French teacher at Central Jr. High. A great person who made a difference in my life. My sincere condolences on your loss. Mary Long, Antioch, CA
