Margaret Louise Berg, 70, a lifelong Superior resident died Friday, June 22, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
Margaret Louise Berg, 70, a lifelong Superior resident died Friday, June 22, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
She was born Sept. 16, 1941 to Helen (Krivinchuk) and Alvin Stephen Graskey.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard; children, Scott (Kris) Berg of Superior and Sherrie (James) Brannen of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Megan, Abby and Hannah Berg of Superior and Alexa Brannen of Frisco, Texas; sisters, Annette (Gerald) Higgins, Karen (Richard) Bergren, Sandy (Mike) McGinnis and Susan (Dean) Grisar; brothers, Alvin (Rose) Graskey, James (Jean) Graskey and George (Linda) Graskey; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She loved spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren. Having morning coffee with her close friend, "Auntie Shirley" was immensely important to her. She also enjoyed playing bingo and flower gardening.
A time of fellowship and remembrance will be held in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden and 19th Street, Wednesday, June 27 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
