Scott A. Young

Scott A. Young, 48, Superior resident, died Monday, June 11, 2012, unexpectedly at his home.

He was born and raised in Duluth, Minn. and graduated from Denfeld High School.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 16, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Avenue, Superior and continue until the 1 p.m. memorial service.

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.

Shari - I am so sorry to learn about Scott. He was one of a kind, and will definitely be missed. My prayers to you and your family. I too, have some photographs of Scott from my Duluth/UMD days, etc. --- and I will make sure you get them. Peace, Tom Matta

Shari, Sarah and I are so sorry to hear about Scott's passing. He was a fine musician but, more importantly, a very sweet guy. We are in the process of moving, so lots of my photos are boxed up. I know I have some shots with Scott from UMD, circa 1986. I'd be more than happy to send these along to you when I can locate them, if you like. Take care, Dave
