Ronald Glonek, 60, April 30, 2012. Ron died of natural causes in Soldotna, Alaska.

Ron was born Oct. 5, 1951, in Superior, Wis., to Bernard and Alice Glonek.

Ron met and married his wife Nancy in Superior in 1971, and began a 40 year marriage filled with love and adventure in Alaska.

Ron took great pride in his lifetime career in the FAA.

Ron is survived by his wife Nancy of Soldotna; son Robert (Sandy) Glonek; daughter Jessica Glonek; granddaughter Sierra Glonek and Trinity Glonek; grandson Tristin Glonek; brothers Jack Glonek and Jerry Glonek; sister Janet Johnson, and nephew Scott Chadwick.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday May 19th in Alaska.

I am an old neighbor of Ron's. I lived on the other side of the block when we were growing up. I have fond memories of those days. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Marilyn (Stein) Marshall
