Eleanor May Fonger, 84 of South Range passed away with her family by her side Thursday, April 12, 2012.

Eleanor May Fonger, 84 of South Range passed away with her family by her side Thursday, April 12, 2012.

Eleanor was born April 6, 1928, in Lake Nebagamon. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and spending time with her family at the cabin. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Electa Lee, husband Robert, daughter Roxann, brother, Wallace Lee, and sister, Ellen Laurvick.

She is survived by her children Robert (Diane) Fonger, Marilyn Brandt, Laurie Fonger, Jim Fonger, Julie (Marshall) Weems, Duane (Mary) Fonger; grandchildren, Seth (Traci) Fonger, Elyssa (Tim) Donarski, Matt, Mike and Megan Brandt, Adam and Angie Weems, Conner and Carter Fonger; brother, Robert (Betty) Lee; and sister, Muriel Viggiano.

A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth.
