Eleanor Jardine and Dale (Skip) Jardine
Eleanor Jardine, 72, and Dale (Skip) Jardine, 74, of Port Wing, Wis, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 and Friday, March 3, 2012 respectively at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.
Eleanor Jardine, 72, and Dale (Skip) Jardine, 74, of Port Wing, Wis, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 and Friday, March 3, 2012 respectively at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth. Skip and Eleanor had celebrated over 56 years of marriage.
Both Skip and Eleanor were born in Port Wing, Wis. Skip was the son of Hugo and Lydia Jardine and Eleanor was the daughter of Ted and Eleanor Kinney.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ted Kinney. Skipper was preceded in death by his parents.
Skip and Eleanor are survived by their children Greg Jardine, Port Wing, Wis., Eleanor Nicholson, Port Wing, Wis., Scott Jardine, Port Wing, Wis., and Kathy Sorenson also of Port Wing, Wis. Skip and Eleanor are also survived by their grandchildren Eric and Chris Jardine, Bob (Robert) Nicholson, Jenna, Morgan, and Conner Sorenson and Payton and Sylas Jardine.
A memorial service begins at 12 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Lutheran Church, Port Wing, Wis., with Rev. Nancy officiating. There will be a lunch after the service in the basement of the church.
