Fern Irene (Bown) Bruner, 90, passed away peacefully Feb. 24, 2012, at Middle River Heatlh Facility.
She was born to Clark and Jessie (Cunningham) Bown on Oct. 1, 1921, in Spooner, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Bruner, sister Viola Sylvester and brother Harry Bown.
She is survived by her six children Myron Leef, Gordon, Kay (David) Hemmer, Evansville, Ind., Robert ( Margaret) Leef, South Range, Donna (Michael) Horrocks, South Range, Rex (Gerri) Bruner and Gene Bruner, Superior, 11 grandchildren, five step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, five great step grandchildren and two great great grandsons.Fern will be placed to rest with her father and mother in the Spooner Cemetery.
