Wilfred Robertson

Wilfred Robertson, 95, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Solvay Hospice House.

He was born June 15, 1916. He lived most of his life in Minnesota but in December 1984 he and his wife moved to Superior. Wil was retired from Minnesota Power. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Superior.

Wil is survived by his wife Mary; children, Daryl Robertson, Janet (Larry) Johnson, John (Tammi) Zantek, and Susan Plucinak; three grandsons and two granddaughters; brothers, Clarence (Eleanor) and Harold (Margie); and several nieces and nephews.

With respect to the wishes of Wil, there will be no funeral service.

A special thank-you to all of the St Mary's Home Hospice Care people who made our lives so much easier and to the wonderful staff at Solvay Hospice House who made Wil's last days as good as possible.
