Genevieve Ann Carlson, 68, of Superior, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
Genevieve Ann Carlson, 68, of Superior, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
She was born Nov. 27, 1943 in Superior, daughter of William and Gertrude (Yehle) Buss.
She was a graduate of Superior Cathedral High School.
Genevieve loved to read and enjoyed needlework.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Francis Buss.
Survivors include her daughter, Caroline Wallin, Superior; grandchildren, Misty, Eric and Henry Hoyt; great-granddaughter, Kaelin Jo McDonough-Hoyt; sister, Betty (Tom) DeSanto, Kenosha, Wis.; and loving companion, Mark Hutson, Superior.
Visitation will be from 1 until the 2 p.m. service, Friday, Feb. 17, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Rev. Andrew Ricci will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior, at a later date.
