My sister and I got to know Irene during the 3 years our dad was in Golden Living Center. Irene and Dad (George Sletten, Sr.) were special friends, usually sharing meal times and sitting together for hours visiting. Irene always greeted us with a big smile and often gave us a hug when it was time for us to leave. Dad passed away in December of 2009 and our weekly visits to Golden LIving Center dropped to about every 6 -8 weeks but I continued to check in on Irene. She was a dear friend to my dad and we are thankful that she and dad had each other. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. Kim Koskie & Mary Hattenberger

Worked with Irene many years ago. A very pleasant lady. She left an impression in many lives of friendship to many that work with her at Jeno's. Chuck
