David D. Waltenburg

David D. Waltenburg, age 78, of Northbrook, Ill., formerly of Superior, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011.

David was the beloved husband of Mary nee Rivard; loving father of Lynn (George) Boothe, David (Maureen) Waltenburg, Donald (Jennifer) Waltenburg, Lisa (Eric) Schmidt and Scott (Audrey) Waltenburg; dear grandpa of Kristy, Jeremy, Michelle, Jamie, Erin, Kyle, Scott, Ryan, Danny, Evan, Morgan, Hailey, Brooke and the late Melissa; devoted son of the late Clyde and Esther Waltenburg; dear brother of Donald (Jane) Waltenburg, Deanna (Richard) Welch and the late Clyde Waltenburg, Dolores (Walt) Bee, Mona (late Richard) Pendergast and Rodney (Mary) Waltenburg; fond uncle and friend of many.

Visitation will take place from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, Ill. (two blocks south of Dundee Road).
