Michelle Rae “Micki” Graskey, 62, of Solon Springs passed away surrounded by her family at Solvay House, Duluth.
Micki was born Feb. 16, 1949, to Ray and Rose (Kalkman) Little in Superior. She graduated from Solon Springs High School in 1967 and attended the University of Wisconsin in Superior. She married Ron Graskey in Solon Springs at St. Pius X Catholic Church in 1992. She worked for the Douglas County Forestry Department until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of St. Pius and initiated the “free” clothing distribution, and Thursday night softball at the church. She also played softball for Prevost’s Women’s Softball Team. She enjoyed crafting with the ladies, riding in her golf cart to visit close friends and never missed a rummage sale.
Micki is survived by; her husband, Ron, of Solon Springs; one daughter, Meghan Schultz of Superior; one son, Michael Schultz of Nekoosa, Wis.; two sisters, Peggy (Tom) Eisenmann of Washington and Solon Springs, and Kathy (Bob) Maas of Solon Springs; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, and one brother, Frank Little.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at St. Pius in Solon Springs with the Rev. James Kinney officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

While working at Prevost, one of the highlights of my day would be when "my girls" came in for lunch. Micki was sunlight on a cloudy day and would always have sage words of wisdom for me when she knew I was feeling low. I am so sorry for your loss.
