He was born on Oct. 31, 1996, in Valparaiso, Ind. to Michael and Jacquelyn Stowers.
Ryan was a student at Northwestern High School. He attended the youth group at Central Assembly of God Church and played basketball and soccer at Northwestern High School.
Ryan will always be remembered for his smile and his ability to make people laugh. His family will always have fond memories of him playing basketball and soccer.
He is survived by his Mother, Jacqe (Mike) Phillips, Poplar; his Father, Mike (Gina Hill) Stowers, Poplar; three brothers, Riley Stowers and Caleb and Caden Phillips; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Laura Brown, Superior; paternal grandparents, George and Kathy Stowers, Valparaiso; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Central Assembly of God Church with Pastor Tom Miller of Central Assembly of God Church and Pastor Darrell Kyle of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon officiating.
Burial will be in the Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service will be Dana Graveson, Scott Stowers, Josh Kubarek, Mike Phillips, Larry, Bruce and Roy Brown and Kevin Orme.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Poplar Wolves Basketball Team.
Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Central Assembly of God, 3000 Hammond Ave., Superior, WI 54880, for the missionary services called Speed the Light.
