Gerald Brown, 67, Superior area resident, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010.
Gerald Brown, 67, Superior area resident, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at his home in Superior.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1943, in Clear Lake, Wis., the son of Charles Edward Brown and Opal Whitmer.
Gerald was employed by the Labor’s Union Local 1091 for over 45 years. He was a member of the Local Labor Union 1091.
Gerald will be missed by his family and countless friends.
He is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Brad) Roen, Webster, Wis.; Melanie Brown and Melissa Brown, both of Superior; one son, Scott Brown, Superior; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his mother, Opal Brown, Superior; two sisters, Debbie (Scott) Anderson, Duluth, and Sandy Wakefield, Superior; one brother, Steve Brown, Superior; and his beloved canine companion, Ice.
Gerald was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy and Judy Brown.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 at First Covenant Evangelical Church, 3311 Hammond Ave., Superior and continue until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Stephen Staurseth, officiating.
The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
