Elaine J. Culby, 85, died March 9, 2010.

Elaine J. Colby, 85, died March 9, 2010.

She was born March 21, 1924. She was a member of St. Louis Church, and was in the Altar Society and Rosary Society.

She went to Cathedral of Christ the King and was in the Catholic Daughters. She waited at funerals and was always available when needed.

She worked at Co-op Bakery, was a secretary and worked at Superior Community Credit Union. She loved to take care of her flowers and gardens and loved the outdoors, going for a walk every day. She loved making cookies and treats for her grandchildren. Harold and Elaine spent their winters in Arizona.

Her mother, Angel Newman, and husband, Harold Colby, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Larry) Price; a son, Jeff (Janet) Colby; three grandchildren, Tony Price, Dallas Colby and Tyler Colby; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Aaron Tharp.

Visitation with a rosary service is at 10:30 a.m. with Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12 at Cathedral of Christ the King with a luncheon to follow in the Parish Hall.

Harold and elaine will always be in my prayers. The hours spent in the dental office with them and sharon and jeff, will always be remembered. love and respect. Dr jim soderlund
