Shirley M. Smith, 54, Mikana, Wis., died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Lakeview Medical Center, Rice Lake. Visitation begins 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. Friday at Good Samaritan Church, Cameron, with interment at Wayside Cemetery, Barron. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals of Rice Lake is in charge of arrangements.
Merrill E. Thompson, of Superior and Amnicon Lake, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Visitation begins 5 p.m. Friday in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home and continues at 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service Saturday in the Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
