Lloyd D. Berg, 76, Rice Lake, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Funeral Services are held at 11 a.m. Monday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake with interment in the Cedar Lake Cemetery. Visitation from 3-7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until the service Monday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals. There will be an Elk’s memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Howard P. “Babe” Matheson, 82, of 1311 N. 23rd St. died Friday, April 18, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical center, Duluth. Funeral arrangements pending at Downs Funeral Home.
Emily E. Nordland Schmidt, 79, Superior, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral in Downs Funeral Home.
