Lake Nebagamon


Chase Meierotto, hatchery manager for the Red Cliff Tribal Fish Hatchery, scoops up walleye fingerlings to be stocked in Lake Nebagamon. The Red Cliff Hatchery stocked about 1,000 walleye in Lake Nebagamon on Sept. 12, and the Nebagamon Lake Association plans to add another 4,000 to 5,000 in October as part of the ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the lake’s walleye population.
