Painter John Cosby of California puts a finishing touch on a landscape sketch featuring the Tower streetscape and the railroad tracks leading up to it Thursday in Superior. Cosby and fellow artist Joseph Paquet of St. Paul came to town Monday to capture landscapes on canvas for a future show featuring America’s Rust Belt. They will be in town through the weekend, setting up their easels to catch plein-air paintings of Superior. (Maria Lockwood)
