John Munsell's drama and speech classes were 2 of the best learning experiences I had at UWS. His creativity knew no bounds, and his classes were always so interesting and fun. I'm sure everyone, myself included, who was a part of John's vision of "Peter Pan" in 1976 has fond memories of participating in one of the most unique productions in UWS history. My Condolences to Susie and the rest of John's family - he was a person who will be remembered fondly by many. Cheryl E.

John truly was a remarkable man and his love for theatre was evident. I feel very proud and honored that I was able to see many of his plays. There will be lots of wonderful memories, my sincere love and sympathy to all the family. Janeen M. Menomonie, WI

Although I was not a theater major, I took a stage design class from John Munsell. I found him to be one of the most creative, talented, entertaining, witty, urbane and energetic instructors I have ever encountered, both as an undergrad and as a graduate student at a different university. I still remember him and his class with deep fondness after all these years. He was truly a unique, wonderful individual that actually made a difference.
