The loss of a great lady who touched so many, many lives with her smile, her talents and her love of God can never be forgotten. Lois lived next door to her cousin, my grandfather for years. Whenever we saw her she always had a smile on her face, was dressed perfectly with not a hair out of place and a song on her lips as well as in her heart. She was always happy and her smile was contagious. Rest in peace sweet lady. You will live on in our hearts forever.

What a great lady! Full of love and laughter and a true servent of the Lord. She was my mother's best friend going back to their Billings Park childhood days. There used to be a recording studio on Tower Ave where people could just walk in and make a record. Lois and mom did just that prior to the war, both harmonizing together while mom played the piano. They sounded great until they got the giggles and had to cut it short. I wish I could locate that record, but I do still have a few of the gifts she gave me as a child from Japan.
