Superior graduate earns 400th USHL coaching win

Waterloo Black Hawks head coach P.K. O’Handley earned his 400th regular season coaching victory in the USHL on March 3 when his club earned a 3-2 win over Sioux City. O’Handley, a 1985 graduate of Superior Senior High School, is in his eighth season behind the bench with the Black Hawks and has guided the club to a 26-20-2 record, including a 16-5-1 mark since the start of 2010.

All-Conference team named

Superior High School’s Joel Lindberg, Rob Kraft and Josh Kimmes were all named to the Lake Superior Conference All-Conference basketball team for the 2009-10 season. All three are juniors on a Spartan squad that is currently 20-3.
