87, left this life on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, after a brief battle with cancer and many years of poor health. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Oct. 11, at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Wis., Scott Nedland officiating, with interment in the Sunset Cemetery in Prairie Farm, Wis.
