Local government relies on tax fairness

The Wisconsin Counties Association estimates Wisconsin could get at least $100 million more in sales tax revenue if collected properly. Tax fairness is part of the issue. Some Wisconsin citizens escape sales tax when they buy items from companies and stores outside the state that aren’t collecting the sales tax.
