Politics at work: Can employees be fired for expressing their views?

As the 2012 political races heat up, just about everyone seems willing to share their opinions on the candidates and issues — whether asked or not. For many of the nation’s workers, this can lead to uncomfortable situations or outright arguments on the job. Responding with a personal opinion might seem second nature, but it might also be a risky move, career-wise.
