John "Swede" Carlson

86, of Rice Lake, Wis. passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals and for 1 hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Aug. 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, with Rev. James Powers officiating, with interment in the St. Joseph Cemetery where Military Rites will be accorded by the Rice Lake Veterans Center Honor Guard.
