City closes East Second Street, power outages affect hundreds

After one Superior police officer got stuck in the snow on East Second Street near the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center and another called for a plow to keep other motorists from being stuck, the police department called for the closure of U.S. Highways 2 and 53 northwest of 18th Avenue East.
