College men's hockey: UMD opens season with victory over Ohio State

A quick pair of goals in the first and third periods propelled No. 13-ranked Minnesota Duluth to a season-opening 6-2 nonconference win over Ohio State before 5,831 fans at Amsoil Arena. Senior winger Mike Seidel led the Bulldogs with two goals.
